About SIC-MTU
The Startup Incubation Center was established as an Incubation Center for the Tech Based Startups for Startup Manipur. It was launched by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri. N. Biren on 28th April 2022. The aim of the incubation center is to:

Provide incubation support to the beneficiaries of Start-up Manipur

Provide Funding support from various Government and Private Organization

Prototyping Support using the State-of-art Laboratories of the University

Our Services
Ideas to Minimum Viable Product
SICMTU has state of the art laboratories facility in 5 Engineering department viz Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. With faculties as mentor, we help convert the Startup Ideas to MVP.
Pre-incubation and Incubation
SIC-MTU provides 1 year preincubation and incubation support to the Idea Stage Startups to build prototypes and growth to the business. We also provide facilities for Early fund raise from various govenement schemes and challenges.
Acceleration
In collaboration with AIC-SMUTBI, the SIC-MTU provides 3 Months acceleration programme specially tailored to bring growth to the business. The programme consists of 16 Business training Diagnostic sessions and Mentoring, finally culminating with an oppurtunity to pitch to potential funders/ investors
